THE THANG: Pax 1 does exercise while Pax 2 runs to the midfield. Swap out and continue the exercise until each amount of reps are complete. The exercises and reps are:
50- Burpees / 100- Overhead Claps / 150- Merkins / 200- Big Boy Sit-ups / 250- Squats.
Bear crawl to goal post; but-kickers back (made the speedy Yogi bear crawl and he still beat most of us). Duck walk to goal post; Frankenstein’s Monster Walk back MARY: LBC (100 sc); the PAX led us through several more Mary exercises. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Grow Ruck Saturday
COT: In 2 Corinthians 12:9 we read “but He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” So I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me“. The Apostle Paul is struggling with the reality that God has not removed a “thorn in the flesh” from him (an unnamed weakness/pain) despite praying for healing three times. Yet, Paul affirms that God’s grace is sufficient for ensuring it and God’s power will be made known through this weakness. When I was a kid, I prayed that God would remove my dyslexia but that was not granted. I’ve adapted, as we all have to, to our weaknesses. I need to memorize my sermons instead of reading them, but maybe that’s for the best. May God grant us grace sufficient for bearing our struggles and may God’s strength be seen in our carrying these crosses.
