COT/Announcements: On Election day, I worked the polls and had to leave my phone off from 5:45 am to 10:00 pm. I had serious withdrawal, SERIOUS withdrawal, but it was actually kind of pleasant to spend an entire day just helping people vote, without being able to obsess over internet discussions of politics. While I certainly want to take whatever action I can to stop or slow the decline and willful destruction of America and western civilization, maybe I (we?) should spend more time focusing on the people and things around us IRL that we can actually affect or change, and less time pointlessly surfing the web and scrolling through Twitter angsting about the things we have very little control over. Then, maybe we’ll have more good days, like I had on Tuesday, with real people doing real things.

The Grunt is Saturday, 7:00 am, at the Lincoln Memorial. I and a few others will be going down separately (for various reasons), but we’ll try to organize a clown car for anybody who is able/wants to carpool.

THE THANG: Four groups, four stops, four exercises at each stop. Station 1, the Hill
Group 1 is timer. Bernie Sanders up the hill and mosey back down.
Groups 2, 3, 4 do merkins, BWS, and LBCs, then rotate until all groups do all exercises.

Station 2: The Arena
Group 1 is timer, three trips up the stairs, broad jumping 3 steps at a time, then 2, then every step.
Groups 2-4 do dips, toe taps, and balls to the wall, and rotate through each exercise.

Station 3: basketball court
Group 1 is timer. Bear crawl the length of the court, and crawl bear back to mid court. Groups 2-4 do wall sits, Carolina Dry Docks, and lunges. Rotate.

Station 4: football field
Group 1: 100yd sprint, 100yd sprint back
Groups 2-4: calf raises, burpees, and WWIs

It is good to be in the company of so many HIMs in the glory of their gray hair. And also an inspiration to see men approaching double respect who are still getting after it and still have some of the glory of strength remaining. Gives me something to shoot for.

B. 3 stations, 10 reps at each station for a total of 30 reps of each exercise, 6 rounds. Sprint between stations if correct, bear crawl between if wrong.
