Set 1: PAX did 10 reps of Goblet Squats at the end zone, 25yrd, 50yrd, 25yrd, opposite end zone and return stopping at the same markers. Murder Bunnies between markers.Set 2: Same as above, but 10 reps of Ruck Plank Pull-throughs at each marker. Walking lunges on the way back to the starting line.
Set 3: Circled up for 20 CPRs IC.

Been reading the book Tribe, these are some quotes: “We have a strong instinct to belong to small groups defined by clear purpose and understanding–“tribes.”

“that-for many veterans as well as civilians-war feels better than peace, adversity can turn out to be a blessing, and disasters are sometimes remembered more fondly than weddings or tropical vacations.”

So much of that resonates with our Tribe in F3. Overcoming these struggles, these beat downs, these challenges together. That’s what makes our bond so strong! We overcome these as a Tribe together!

The Thang: As the saying goes, summer bodies are made in the winter. Since we typically do Murph on Memorial Day, followed by 7 days of recovery, today’s workout was some early prep to get us ready. We did 20 mins of Cindy. AMRAP of sets of 5 pull ups with Big Boi’s while on deck, 10 merkins with reverse planks until pull up pacers signaled rotate, 15 squats followed by arm presses.

Mary: 2 mins of suspension of flutter kicks, heels to heaven, freddie mercury’s, box cutters.

COT: The value of preparation. Closing prayer.

COT: Everybody has days that are filled with Highs and Lows. Today is typically a low day as it would have been Dad’s 72 birthday but reminded everyone about taking care of themselves. Take a step back and do some breathing for a minute when things get to you. Building on Bolt’s COT talk from Monday as taking a step back and breathing can turn the tide of the moment.
