It all started innocently enough. Just out enjoyed a beverage with the dudes. “Hey – how do you think the game is going to go?” It’s a slippery slope. At the very bottom of the slope, the cliff-ish part, was co-Q’ing a beatdown in a hideous Michigan hat, doing extra burpees with Legacy (but not a lot of them, Maguire has a heart as it turns out) and Legacy and I forking over some bourbon to our pals Maguire and Lucius. Congrats to the Wolverines.

But there was a light at the end of the tunnel. The part where the Q gets to share the misery. So he did.

WARMUP: Honestly I have no idea. It included 20 burpees for all, plus burpees, and some Michigan ass-kickers.

THE THANG:
We relived the misery. The PAX went back and forth between the 25’s on the field, mixing up the travel, according to the flow of the game. Final game stats: -47 points scored (47 burpees)
-13 punts (39 burpees)
-2 fumbles, technically a fumble and a muffed punt (20 burpees) -1 missed FG (3 burpees)
Also 97 yards of bear crawl, a lap around the track, two laps around the field, and a 200 yd mosey.

MARY: 8 burpees (for 8 Harbaugh-led victories), also flutter kicks and LBCs

ANNOUNCEMENTS: I don’t remember any?

COT: Maguire had some inspiring words about being spontaneous, whether with your friends or your family, seize the day. At least that’s what I was told. All I heard in my head was something about poison… like taking rat poison.
