Warmup: SSH, cherry pickers, Moroccan nightclubs, imperial walkers, Michael Phelps

It was old man day at the General, so the Q went old school. Rush songs and game shows.

The Thang:

Leg Bearchetta:
Bear crawl 100 yds, 100 BWS, mosey back
Bear crawl 75 yds, 75 single leg lunges, mosey back
Bear crawl 50 yds, 50 monkey humpers, mosey back
Bear crawl 25 yds, 25 sumo squats, mosey back
Bear crawl 10 yds, 10 burpees pick up the six until all PAX are finished

F3 Name That Tune:
The PAX all do an exercise. For example, the first one was to crab walk to the 30 yd line and back. But there’s an auction exercise. First one was burpees. So the auction was how many burpees you can do before the first PAX finishes the crab walk. Highest bid does the burpees. (Hint, 23 is too many if @Toolbox is around. Heck 10 was probably too many.)

2nd round was 20 yd broad jump vs another burpee auction.

3rd round was 10 burpees (all PAX) vs sprint out/back (auction for highest distance)

4th round was Carioca to 40 and back vs hand release Merkins

Repeated rounds 1-3 and ran out of time.

Mary: Captain Thor pyramid to 6/6 and back down.

COT: The QIC read an article about a collegiate wrestler from the U of Iowa. He had just won his 3rd consecutive national championship. Afterwards he said that 8 days prior to the tournament he had torn his ACL. When asked why he didn’t say anything, he said, “I didn’t want to tell anyone because F excuses. Excuses are for wusses.” Perhaps not the exact wording I would have used. But not a bad message. Get your $hit done. Or don’t. But don’t make excuses.
