THE THANG: Pair up. 6 exercises – 3 on one sideline (OH Press; Curls; Dips) and 3 on the other (Merkins; Monkey Humpers; Bulgarian Split Squat). You and partner do 20 reps of each exercise and then mosey to other sideline for next exercise. Once done with all 6, run a lap. Rinse and repeat but add 10 reps to each exercise. We talked about Jesus’ instructions in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 18. There, Jesus instructs on how to deal with disagreements. First, go alone to talk it out and resolve the conflict. If that doesn’t work, take a wise mediator (or two) to help offer perspective. The third option is to bring the offender before the community (shame). However, if they say sorry you forgive and welcome that person back into the fold. Peter isn’t ok with this. He essentially asks, okay, what if that guy comes and asks for forgiveness? How many times do I have to forgive him? Jesus responds that the answer isn’t 7 (a complete number) but seventy-seven times (KJV says seven times seven times equaling 490). That’s an absurd number, beyond “reasonableness”. That is intentional because the number of times God forgives us isn’t just seven; it’s many times more. Thank goodness God doesn’t only give us seven chances. Nelson Mandela famously said, “Not forgiving is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die.” We do ourselves harm, not just the other person when we withhold forgiveness. We concluded with a short prayer asking for help to hold onto the things we should but to let go of the things we shouldn’t hold onto.

PAX line up on the goal line:
– run 5 yards, do 5 burpees, repeat every 5 yards to the 25 yard line – run 5 yards, do 5 squats, repeat every 5 yards to the 50 yard line – run 5 yards, do 5 burpees, repeat every 5 yards to the far 25 yard line – run 5 yards, do 5 lunges, repeat every 5 yards to the far goal line.

Return to the starting point. Form groups of 3 and line up with coupons on the sideline for 3-person Dora. One PAX performs coupon exercises on the near sideline, one PAX performs body weight exercises on the far sideline and one PAX runs between them. – first set: 60 blockees and 60 kraken burpees
– second set: 120 coupon squats and 120 mountain climbers
– third set: 150 shoulder presses and 150 mercans
