COT:
YHC shared that he loved Q’ing on Saturdays and involving the 2.0s as our mission is to plant…grow…serve….for the invigoration of male leadership. F3 is a perfect laboratory for this and it can start early.

YHC then shared advice he received from a wise friend who said that there are 3 stages of parenting…direction setting/protection, coaching and friendship. Shared that much of his parenting initially fell into the direction setting (helicopter parenting) category and thought it might be too late to shift to coaching approach but the good news was that it wasn’t too late! Also shared the joy of the transition from coaching to friendship with 2.0s.

Shared personal story about his own 2.0 (26 year old F3 Snooki…Memphis Region) calling to discuss and important topic this week and that rather than giving specific advice YHC took a coaching approach, shared his own story, asked questions, and reassured that he would handle the important conversation well. 2.0 managed the conversation brilliantly and taught YHC lessons in the process.

YHC then spoke to 2.0s assuring that they would also provide valuable lessons to their fathers and to keep coming out to F3.

F3 works!
