THE THANG: in honor of the looming departure of HIM Trolley, the PAX rode the trolley from uptown (jump rope, exercise ball) to downtown (cement block) about 110 yards with a midtown (dumbbells) stop. Basically three stations spread out and if you weren’t at a station you were running back and forth along a set line to replace someone at a stop

If you stay on the trolley you had to pay a fare (burpees)

Explanation of the Concentrica – work-life balance being represented by a teeter-totter is false. The picture of work-life balance is best represented as a target. In the center is your “M”, then 2.0 (family), then Shield Lock Brothers, then Friends, then Mammon (relationship with work). Imagine a man whose boat has capsized; he is struggling to right the ship and clawing for survival. The boats of some men have been so long capsized that they have gradually surrendered to a life of being swept downstream by circumstance. Having lost the ability to make headway, they become fully focused on mere survival. We call these men Sad Clowns and their affliction Sad Clown Syndrome. Going it alone, he is doomed to fail because no man can disengage the death grip he holds on his own status quo. Absent a Disrupter, a man willing and able to create a disturbance in his enervated life, he will remain just as he is, clinging to the capsized boat of his life and incapable of initiating the Movement required to Get Right.

In this quadrant, a man who has and continues to Get Right shifts his perspective to other men whose boats are capsized. I share that IMPACT is an acronym that they should go look up and study (Influence, Missionality, Positive habit transfer, Accountability, Correction, Targeting). The PAX are then tasked with partnering up with another man, and the standard Dora (100 merkans, 200 squats, 300 LBC’s) is then called out to complete. By partnering with another man, the PAX complete the exercises faster than they would have on their own.

“What is the third quadrant? “The Lead Right” (5 penalty burpees avoided)
What acronym & which letter of the alphabet should you know to remember the QPoints of “The Lead Right”? “VAPE” (Vision, Articulation, Persuasion, Exortation) & the “5 C’s” (Candor, Commitment, Consistency, Contentment, and Courage) are the leadership skills & leadership virtues. By combining both the skills & virtues, a man truly becomes a virtuous leader. (5 penalty burpees for no correct guesses)
The PAX then broke off into two small groups and YHC directs the PAX to lead within their own groups by rotating the calling of exercises. PAX are free to decide which exercises they call out. This lasts for approximately 5 minutes.
Lastly, we finally transition into “The Leave Right”. What is the definition of this quadrant?
The definition is “the construction of legacy.” PAX were directed to discuss with their small groups what legacy means to them. How are they working to build a legacy? What does legacy mean to them? I then open up COT by asking if anyone feels led to share what their group discussed or if they want to share a personal testimony.

COT: Each exercise has been thought out to reflect the meaning of the Quadrant. PAX start out alone, often as Sad Clowns, who are fighting to get adrift. With the help of another man, and by starting to help other men, acceleration truly begins, and an IMPACT has been made. Men then shift to leading their families, workplaces, and neighborhoods, and ultimately, when the Sky Q calls you home, a legacy has been constructed.

Thang 2:
5 LBC’s at the goal line, Murder Bunny to the 15, 1 Block-Facing Burpee at the 15, Rifle Carry lunges back to goal line. Then 10 & 2, 15 & 3, and jumped to 50 & 10.

Thang 3:

Remain in plank position the whole time. Bear crawl forward 4 steps, do 1 merkin, 1 plank jack, and tap the BACK of each shoulder 1 time. Repeat adding 1 rep to each exercise each time – bear crawl forward 4 steps, do 2 merkins, 2 plank jacks, 2 sets of back of shoulder taps… etc. We went until we got to 6 reps each.
