THE THANG:
Christmas trivia game
Each pax was given a question and chose an exercise out of a hat. If answered correctly then they sprinted the field and pax did the exercises. If incorrect answer, then they did Pax while singing Christmas carol while Pax moseyed the field.

Then played frisbee although small group chose mosey laps with the Q around the track.
MARY: In the frisbee but also did a few extra Merkins and Squats before concluding. ANNOUNCEMENTS: wreath pick-up in January
COT: Take time to consider end of the year giving the next few weeks. Don’t see it as a sacrifice. Rather try to find the joy in giving – placing your faith and confidence in the Lord to provide in the coming year.

THE THANG: After a brief fellowship lap around the bus circle the PAX gathered around in a circle on the sports ball fields to learn the true meaning of Festivus: a non-denominational holiday filled with one sided ridicule and mindless physical tests of strength. Also, there was an aluminum pole. The tradition of Festivus began with the Airing of Grievances:
Flipping the script to accommodate the 2.0’s in tow, the QIC modified the typical Airing of Grievances to include a communal venting session. Each PAX had the opportunity to bark out the ways in which the next or previous generation had disappointed them over the past year. After each grievance was a burpee was performed collectively by the group.

And now as Festivus rolls on, we come to the feats of strength.
• Turf – pair up, 1 PAX carries the Festivus pole (or coupon of choice) to the fence and back while the other PAX does a high knee skip. Switch exercises at the goal line: o Mountain Climbers
o Star Jumps
o LBC’s
o Heisman Shuffle
o Football Fast Feet/Get Downs
• 3 rounds of max effort for pull ups while remaining PAX performs o Soccer kicks
o Peter Parkers
o Freddie Mercuries
• Mosey to the blocks for 2 rounds of Upper Deckers, Dips and Derkins – 20 reps each
• Ring of Festivus Fire – 5 goblet squats with the pole while remaining PAX held plank

After each name was read, and an appropriate insult hurled, a burpee was performed collectively by the group. And now as Festivus rolls on, we come to the feats of strength.
• Pole carry – pair up, 1 PAX carries the Festivus pole to the fence and back while the other PAX does a high knee skip. Switch exercises at the fence. • Remaining PAX performs the following until each team returns: o Mountain Climbers
o Star Jumps
o LBC’s
o Heisman Shuffle
o “Where am I’s”
o Football fast feet/Get down’s
o Bonnie Blairs
• Short mosey to the jungle gym on the playground – 2 rounds of max effort for pull ups while remaining PAX performs o Soccer kicks
o Peter Parkers
o Freddie Mercuries
• Mosey to the blocks for 2 rounds of Upper Deckers, Dips and Derkins – 20 reps each
• Mosey back to the field for 3 Rings of Festivus Fire – 5 goblet squats each while PAX held plank/high knees/Al Gore, 5 goblet squats then a bear crawl, 5 goblet squats, 5 Overhead Presses then bear crawl around the circle
