COT: YHC loves loaded carries. The physical, mental and spiritual challenge of physically carrying a heavy burden gives YHC peace. The physical – proper loaded carries challenge the entire body, from brace to grip, core to cardio, and everything in between. Loaded carries are a simple yet effective means to building functional strength – important for us Respect guys! The mental and spiritual – YHC’s middle child suffered a setback last week. It is in these moments that YHC thinks about carrying the weight of his child’s suffering, and engaging in loaded carries (or rucking!) gives YHC a healthy outlet to experience the physical, mental and emotional weight of suffering. It is also in these moments that YHC is reminded of the saying “Pray not for a lighter load, but for a stronger back.” Thank you men for joining me in the suffering of a loaded carry beatdown this morning.
