The story of Job from the Old Testament in the Bible: At the beginning of the story, Job loses everything—his wealth, children, and health. Here is his response: “Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, and said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” (Job 1:20-21)

Job provides good perspective here: we all came into the world with nothing and we will all leave this world with nothing. Everything we enjoy in life is temporary—death is not an “if” but a “when” and we don’t take anything with us. Even before death, the present circumstances of our lives are temporary. The key is to be grateful for the jobs, health, and possessions we have while we have them. And being grateful fortifies us against the time when we will lose these things.

– 5 Reindeer Kicks (donkey kicks) at each corner
– Dancer (Tabata Set)…20 secs work/10 secs rest X 8
– Alternate box jumps (on concrete stairs) & durkins
– Blitzen & Prancer (4 Corners):
– Blitzen (sprint) the sidelines and…..
– Prancer (lunges) the end zones with….
– 5 Reindeer Kicks (donkey kicks) at each corner
– Dancer (Tabata Set)…20 secs work/10 secs rest X 8
– Alternate shoulder taps with feet on steps & mountain climbers – Rudolph
– Half PAX lines up on end zone the other half on the 20 yard line
– End zone PAX transports gifts (70 lb sandbag) to 20 YL PAX either by block & reindeer (block & bear) or other means… citrus setting the bar high by lunging with sandbag on shoulders. Zig zagged back and forth.
– While Rudolph PAX delivered the packages the other PAX did a series of exercises including WWI, hammers, burpees, plank jacks, mountain climbers, LBCs and more…..
– The packages were all delivered successfully and all the PAX went down in history.

COT: YHC carried on from 2 percent and Festivus message sharing family tradition of reading ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Tradition started by YHC’s mother and carried on through generations.

Shared also that there are times when traditions may change, go dormant, shift, etc. YHC shared example of mother who was intensive care nurse and often worked on Christmas. She found joy in making small knitted and quilted gifts and giving them to the patients who were not with their families on Christmas. She shared with YHC that the antidote to loneliness can be serving others.

YHC wished the PAX a Merry Christmas to those who celebrate and warm holiday wishes to all……and to all a good night!
