WARMUP: The normal routine

THE THANG: Rounds of exercises as individuals, in pairs and in groups of three. For each round, the exercises ended once one PAX (or group) completed all the reps for that round. PAX begin with a rifle carry to the opposite goal line.

Round 1: 11s to the 30 yard line. The exercises were dercans and single-count lunges. Then rifle carry to the opposite goal line.

Round 2: PAX form into pairs for Dora to the 30 yard line. The exercises were 100 each of shoulder presses and coupon squats. Q shuffles the pairs and then rifle carry to the opposite goal line.

Round 3: Dora to the 30 yard line. The exercises were 100 each of Atlas Shrugs and curls. Then rifle carry to the opposite goal line.

Round 4: PAX form into groups of three for three-person Dora to the 40 yard line. The exercises were shoulder taps and mountain climbers. Q shuffles the groups and then rifle carry to the benches.

Round 5: three-person Dora to the middle of the field. The exercises were 100 American Hammers and 200 dips on the benches.

Loaded Carries and Battle Ropes

THE THANG: Carry coupons for 100yd segments for time. Coupons included sandbags, med balls, KBs, tombstone, blocks, plates, dumbbells, Thor’s hammer. Weights ranged from 100# to 10#.
PAX took turns rotating out of a loaded a carry run and into a battle ropes session. The battle ropes rotations went for the duration of the carry sessions.

COT: Today, YHC’s dad would have turned 80. He passed away 3 years ago. YHC gave thanks for his dad and for parents in general. YHC encouraged the PAX to be more intentional spending time with loved ones. Well done today men.

Acropolis

WARMUP: Various stretches across the field. ‘Mercans, WGS, Cobra. Various running back.

THE THANG: The baseball field was simulated on a football field by running to the sideline 30, mid field, sideline 30 and goal line. 1 pax runs the bases while others do exercises for encouragement. SSH, Imperial Skywalkers, Lateral lunges, and Moroccan nightclubs. Each time a pax reaches home plate they pick up a teammate and continue running. The exercise changes for those not running each time the pax reach home plate. Eventually everyone is running and 1 by 1 each pax stops running in the order they started running. They begin cycling through the exercises for encouragement. Eventually everyone stops running.

All pax ran bases again as a group and stopped at each for more exercises.

Coach was mean and finished off with burpee shuttle runs every 10 yards to the 50.
